Metropolitan Railway
operating between
Paddington and Farringdon .

Hammersmith to Paddington opened in 1864.
Farringdon to Moorgate opened in 1865.

Total current route mileage = 16½ miles.
Total stations served = 28 stations.

 

Hammersmith & City line is now part of SSL
