mainly used to regulate the service. Small lever frame controlled Covent Garden crossover and a push button panel (buttons and diagram seen to the left) controlled Kings Cross crossover plus the link between the Piccadilly and Northern lines. |

| Holborn 1974 |
Small
lever frame used to shunt the 3 car Aldwych shuttle onto and off of the single line. This ran Monday to Friday peak hours only between Aldwych & Holborn. Single line only had a connection with the eastbound Piccadilly line. |

Was
mainly used to regulate the service. Lever frame controlled Hyde Park Corner crossover and the reversing siding at Down Street disused station. The 4 drums visible were used to "punch up" each train's description (WB left - EB right) to be displayed on station indicator boards and sent to the next signal cabin on the line. |
